Children react very sensitively to elevated or too low temperatures, so an optimum water temperature of approx. 37-38 ° C is important especially during bathing. Even from 42 ° C, sensitive skin irritations can already occur and there is a risk of burning or overheating. Conventional bath thermometers are helpful, but the temperature measurement takes place only gradually after the water has already been filled. In most cases, it must then be re-regulated with cold or warm water. Larger children also enjoy playing at the water tap - this can lead to scalding.
Ecological: Direct temperature adjustment significantly reduces the amount of water required, since no unnecessary mixing of hot and cold water is necessary. A slightly cooler bath or shower water temperature than usual, saves money and the minimal heat difference is hardly noticeable.
